IB strictly applied the “10 times the number of vacancies” rule as per notification. Final merit list based on Tier-I marks only (Tier-II is qualifying). In case of tie: (a) Tier-I marks, (b) Tier-II marks, (c) older candidate by date of birth, (d) alphabetical order of name. A waiting list will be prepared per DoP&T OM dated 13.06.2000. Selected candidates must clear Character & Antecedent Verification and medical examination before appointment.
