Budgeted courses like ITEP have lower fee (₹30,505 per year). Hostel fee and other funds are additional. The university also offers tuition fee waivers (TFW) for AICTE-approved courses (BBA, BCA) to students with family income ≤ ₹8 lakh (5% supernumerary seats).

SC / BC / Differently Abled (Haryana only) ₹300 ₹125 per extra programme
Payment via online modes only (Net banking/UPI/RTGS). No debit/credit card. Once paid, fee not refunded. Ensure correct programme selection before payment.

Age Limit (General UG Programmes)

The prospectus does not specify any upper age limit for most UG courses. Candidates only need to meet 10+2 qualification. However, for specific programmes like B.A.LL.B.(Hons.), there is no age bar either. For ITEP, NCET eligibility applies. As per UGC norms, no age limit for UG admissions in Category-I universities.

Eligibility Criteria – Programme Wise

Programme Minimum Qualification Additional Requirement
B.A.LL.B.(Hons.) 5-Yr 10+2 with 45% (40% for SC/ST/DA) + English No open school without basic qualification
BBA (Hons.) / B.A. Journalism 10+2 with 50% aggregate + English

ITEP (B.A.B.Ed / B.Sc.B.Ed / B.Com.B.Ed) 10+2 50% NCET 2026 score mandatory
B.Voc / AEDP courses (BCA, B.Sc Data Science etc.) 10+2 pass (any stream) with relevant subjects (Maths for Data Science) Practice-oriented + 1 year paid apprenticeship in 3rd year
M.Tech Applied Geology (5-Yr Integrated) 10+2 with Physics, Mathematics + Chemistry/Biotech/CS/Biology/Geology OR 3-yr Diploma in Engineering

⚠️ Common mistake: For B.Sc (Semiconductor Electronics) you must have Physics & Maths in 10+2; candidates with Biology only are not eligible. For B.Sc Data Science, Mathematics is compulsory.

Selection Process & Merit Calculation

Merit-Based Admission (Except ITEP)

Admission is based on marks obtained in the qualifying examination (10+2 or equivalent) plus applicable weightages. Maximum weightage of 5 marks can be added for:

  • NCC ‘B’ Certificate → 3 marks | ‘C’ or ‘G-II’ Certificate → 5 marks
  • NSS Certificate of Merit (by University) → 5 marks
  • Youth Red Cross Merit → 5 marks
  • Position in Inter-Zonal/Inter-University Youth Festival → 5 marks

For ITEP (B.A.B.Ed/B.Sc.B.Ed/B.Com.B.Ed), selection is 100% through NCET 2026 scores conducted by NTA. In case of tie, senior age gets preference, then 12th marks, then 10th marks.

Your first 7 days after applying

  1. Save the filled application form and fee receipt PDF.
  2. Check the admission portal daily for merit list dates (08/12/22 June).
  3. If name appears in First List, complete document verification and fee deposit by 10 June 2026 (23:55 hrs).
  4. If not in first two lists, mark online attendance (16–18 June, ₹100 fee) to be considered for Final List.
  5. Prepare original documents: 10+2 marksheet, category certificate, Domicile (if applicable), PPP/Aadhaar.
  6. For sports/NCC/NSS quota, keep gradation certificates and authenticity proofs ready.
  7. Apply for hostel separately after admission through IUMS portal (limited seats).

Exam Syllabus (For ITEP – NCET)

Official syllabus for National Common Entrance Test (NCET) 2026 is not provided in this prospectus. Candidates should refer to the NTA website (nta.ac.in) for NCET syllabus, exam pattern, and mock tests. For all other UG programmes, there is no entrance exam – admission is strictly based on 10+2 merit + weightages.
