Selection Process & Merit Calculation
Merit-Based Admission (Except ITEP)
Admission is based on marks obtained in the qualifying examination (10+2 or equivalent) plus applicable weightages. Maximum weightage of 5 marks can be added for:
- NCC ‘B’ Certificate → 3 marks | ‘C’ or ‘G-II’ Certificate → 5 marks
- NSS Certificate of Merit (by University) → 5 marks
- Youth Red Cross Merit → 5 marks
- Position in Inter-Zonal/Inter-University Youth Festival → 5 marks
For ITEP (B.A.B.Ed/B.Sc.B.Ed/B.Com.B.Ed), selection is 100% through NCET 2026 scores conducted by NTA. In case of tie, senior age gets preference, then 12th marks, then 10th marks.
